Amazing Horse Sanctuary!
If you love donkeys, then this is the place for you! Redwings Caldecott, near Great Yarmouth, offers visitors the chance to get up close and cuddly with 120 rescued horses, ponies and mules, including a herd of 30 lovable donkeys.The centre is part of the UK’s largest horse sanctuary, Redwings Horse Sanctuary, and provides a safe haven its adorable residents, which also include Shire Cross Fox and cheeky Shetland pony Sampson – and, best of all, it’s completely FREE! After a relaxing stroll, you can put their feet up with a warm cuppa in the Nosebag Café while there’s a play area for young children to explore. There’s also an on-site gift shop offering a wide range of souvenirs, with all proceeds supporting the hundreds of animals in Redwings’ care.
Having met some of the centre’s gorgeous residents, you might like to sponsor one of the charity’s lovable Adoption Stars, either for yourself or as a thoughtful gift for a friend or loved one. A year’s adoption costs just £15!
